Sandpiper Interactive (SI) offers design and marketing expertise for those that want to expand their business using the internet and other media. SI’s monthly Optimization packages are highly effective ways of accomplishing your business goals, without having to hire your own internet technology staff. Sandpiper Interactive is committed to increasing your business, not just building web sites.

Exclusions:
We at Sandpiper Interactive do not like to limit our service packages! We make every effort to work with your hosting ISP, but sometimes their software, hardware or policies are not possible to work with. If there is a problem we will suggest alternative solutions or ISPs. Not included are trouble shooting pre-existing code created or corrupted by a party other than SI, database development, hosting services, and any service or product that has an associated outside cost.
Payment Options:
Each package is purchased in equal monthly payments with a three-month minimum.
Credit, debit card and check payment options are available.
Since much of this fee is based upon infrastructure building, the fee is non-refundable.
You can directly update your website as often as you want.

Contribute*
Contribute enables you to easily and directly edit and create web pages on your existing website(s) from your computer! You will find Contribute a very useful system for browsing, editing, and publishing content to your website. It works with your existing website, whether it’s an intranet or a public website.
Now you can directly maintain and update your website as often as you want. You need no experience in HTML or web design. It works like a word processor, and you can add or update text, images, tables, links, and Microsoft Word and Excel documents.
Sandpiper Interactive recommends Macromedia Contribute as an inexpensive and simple method for updating your website yourself. Our introductory package for $375 includes the use of the Contribute software (v2.0), training, documentation and administration setup.
Of course, Sandpiper Interactive will continue to improve and maintain the core of your website through one of the monthly optimization services or as requested. Templates are used to maintain a consistent look and feel across the site. Sandpiper Interactive (the administrator) is also responsible for managing which users can edit what content on the website, by setting folder and user permissions.

A browse-edit-publish workflow is used to help you easily find the page you want to edit, make changes to the page, and then update the page on your website.
Note: You must connect to a website before you can edit and publish pages on that website. Sandpiper Interactive will help you through this easy process.
Here’s an overview of the workflow:
1. Browse to a page. Use the Contribute browser to find the web page you want to edit. The browser functions as other web browsers, such as Internet Explorer, and has a familiar look and feel. The browser tool bar has the normal navigation buttons, plus a Choose button to help you navigate to files that aren't linked on your website.
2. Edit your content. When you find the page you want to edit, you click the Edit Page button to open the page in the Contribute editor. Contribute copies the file from your web server and locks it on the server so that no one else can edit the page while you're working on it. You use the Contribute editor as you use a word processor to edit text, images, tables, and links in the page. You can even add a Word or Excel document to your website. The tool bar contains familiar editing buttons, plus buttons for you to save your edits until later, cancel your edits, or publish your edits to the website.
3. Publish the changes. When you finish editing your page, you are ready to publish the page to your website. All you have to do is click the Publish button and Contribute replaces the existing page on your web server with your edited version so that it is live on your website. Contribute also unlocks the file on the server so that other users can edit the page if necessary.
To use Contribute you must be connected to the Internet and meet the following system requirements:
